Los Galanes

Here's a great salsa original for proficient groups that employs a strong melody supported by authentic Latin harmonies and solid orchestration. To ensure the proper groove, the piano montunos are fully notated with chord symbols provided most of the time (pianists are encouraged to comp if familiar with the salsa style). The guitar part consists primarily of chords and slashes, with melodic material notated in some sections. The three solo sections have chord changes cued for guitar, trombone and baritone saxophone.
