About Chris Mann
Chris Mann was born in Australia in 1949 and studied Chinese and linguistics at the University of Melbourne. Since the 1980s, he has lived and worked in New York City, where he developed his own style of reciting poetry in collaboration with a number of musicians and composers, among them John Cage and Kenneth Gaburo. Currently he teaches media art at The New School in New York City.
