About E-MEX-Ensemble

The E-MEX-Ensemble was founded in 1999 and is dedicated to the performance of a broad spectrum of contemporary music. The group’s goal is to maintain a close personal dialogue with composers of all generations to assist in the creation of new works and multimedia productions. The ensemble’s extensive repertoire also includes music from the early and middle years of the twentieth century. E-MEX develops concert series and outreach projects for a wide range of audiences, bringing together jazz musicians, audio and video artists, dancers, and actors in innovative and inspiring performance formats. The group’s work is documented on numerous albums and in broadcasts for networks such as SWR, WDR, and DLF. The E-MEX-Ensemble tours regularly throughout Europe as well as South America, China, South Korea, and the USA. – www.e-mex.de
