About Hansjoerg Schellenberger
Hansjörg Schellenberger (* 1948) – for many years principal oboist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and since the 2021/22 season chief conductor and artistic director of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra - is at home in all musical epochs. More than 50 recordings document his work. In 2018 he was awarded the Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany as a passionate cultural ambassador.
