About Johnny Hamel

Johnny Hamel, born 21 October 1992 near lake Chiemsee.
1997: started piano lessons.
2002: change from piano to drums lessons.
2007-2014: concert tours with the rock band Embryo; concert tours to Spain, Morocco, France, Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland, among others.
2010: drum training with the Gnawa Brotherhood of Abdullah el Gourd in Tangier, Morocco.
2011-2013: duo with Peter Michael Hamel "EineWeltmusik".
Since 2012: beginning of a musical retreat and set up to make his own musical instruments in the mountains of Andalusia. There, among other things, self-made didgeridoos, drums and more are created.
Since 2014: frequent musical exchanges with Njamy Sitson and joint concerts.
Since 2017: several solo projects.
2021: recording for the CD "BETWEEN - free music".
