About Mark Trayle
Mark Trayle (*1955 as Mark Garrabrant in San Jose CA) studied composition at the University of Oregon and at Mills College. The greatest influence on his work was
David Behrman, who introduced him to hybrid analog-digital interfaces, which Trayle began to design on his own in the 1980s. Mark Trayle was a founding member of The Hub and has toured worldwide in a number of different projects. Since 1996, he has been teaching at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia CA.
