About Ronnie Laws
The tenor saxophonist Ronnie Laws was born into an exceptionally musical family which became prominent both in rhythm ‘n’ blues and in jazz and funk circles. In the 70s, Ronnie Laws successfully added his producing touch to recordings by Quincy Jones, Ramsey Lewis and Earth, Wind & Fire. His self-produced album "Brotherhood" could also have been entitled "We are Family" – since Ronnie Laws is supported by his famous elder brother and flautist Hubert, as well as the soulful voices of his sister Eloise and daughter Michele.Products
