In 1969, Les Humphries founded the LES HUMPHRIES SINGERS, which at the time also included Jürgen Drews and Liz Mitchel (later Boney M.). The first two recordings Rock My Soul and Soolaimon conquered the international charts; with cult classics such as Mexico and Mama Loo the multicultural group went on to make a name for themselves for a whole decade.
Carsten Gerlitz has arranged six of the greatest hits for mixed choir and rewritten them under the title Singin’ Explosion".
