As recorded by the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra on their Monday Night album, this expressive swing ballad gives solo work to trumpet, trombone, and to everyone for 3 bars just before the closing section, where Thad's directions say "everybody play a solo in any key."  An ad lib trumpet solo on the final fermata brings this classic chart to a satisfying close.
